The MapleCure project has been in development for several years. The global pandemic certainly contributed to the slowdown of the project. One of the important steps in the realization of the project was to validate our magic recipe for our star product, namely the combination of chaga (inonotus obliquus) with our organic maple (Acer) syrup.
To do this, we called on Mike Doucette (Chemist) and his team from the CCNB-INNOV in Grand Falls. The center in Grand Falls helps entrepreneurs conceptualize multiple recipes or processes to increase the added value of New Brunswick products.
